Plants Toxic to Cats

If you have house plants it is important to know if any of them are toxic to your cat. Many plants are toxic with the Lily being one of the more dangerous ones because it can cause kidney failure. For a list of toxic plants refer to https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/cats-plant-list.

If you are unsure if your cat has ingested or come in contact with a toxic plant, call your veterinarian or the Animal Control Poison Center (APCC) 24-hour emergency poison hotline at 1-888-426-4435.
